So! What was supposed to be a three hour layover in Frankfurt has turned out to be a bit longer. Freezing rain grounded all flights. But, the folks at Lufthansa were great. They got us hooked up with a hotel and dinner and rebooked flights. It’s still not great out but it looks like we’ll probably get out of here today.
Will say that if I’d known I would be in Germany this long I’d have brushed up on my German before I left. Also, they have beer in vending machines here and it’s weird.
